    Colourful, creative, collaborative (and over user of alliteration) Caro has 27 years of agency strategy experience, with deep knowledge of customer engagement & loyalty, and a passion for creativity. She’s worked on some of the UK’s best loved brands – IKEA & Boots, Virgin Trains & Virgin Media, Mini & Jaguar Land Rover, first direct & HSBC, Gordon’s Gin & Nescafe  - you name it, she’s quite possibly worked on it. And has acquired up a plethora of awards on her way. She believes that brands are built though a multitude of little experiences and inspires the strategy team to deliver brand storytelling in every interaction.

    Ursula Marchese

    Group Head of Talent

    Background

    Working over with some of the biggest companies in the Media, Advertising, and Creative industries over the last 20 years has been an absolute gift of a career. Ursula thrives in fast-paced creative environments, and has a passion for talent engagement, attraction and wellbeing.

    As the Group Head of Talent in the UK, she is the overarching guardian of the agency’s attraction and development strategy. Her goal is not just attracting diverse talent, but creating an environment where people feel a true sense of belonging.

    Ursula’s areas of expertise include coaching (qualified as BBC Coach) and employee engagement. She always encourages challenging the status quo to get to a new and impactful solution.

    Prior to becoming CEO of RAPP UK, Gabby was at Proximity: 3 years running the International business in the Paris office and 8 years in Proximity London as MD and then CEO. Coming from a Digital background at the start of it all, Gabby is passionate about the constant evolution of Marketing, finding new and better ways to solve meaty client problems, make consumers happy and deliver outstanding creative work! She is also obsessed with harnessing the collective genius of the Agency to make magic.

    Paul Tomlinson

    UK Group CFO

    Background

    As a qualified accountant, Paul first joined RAPP in 2000 and has been working in finance leadership roles in the industry ever since. After a couple of years as Finance Director at another global advertising network, he returned to RAPP in 2010 as Finance Director of its technology and data business. In 2018, he took on the financial leadership of RAPP’s UK Group and commercial partnership with the UK CEO. Paul has extensive commercial experience gained from a long tenure in financial leadership roles within the advertising industry. This experience includes many years of commercial oversight of significant technology, software and data client and partner engagements.

    I love working in the advertising industry and have done so for 20 years. The energy and buzz at RAPP exemplifies this and is testament to our people. Working with highly motivated and talented people on a daily basis is fantastic, making my working life so enjoyable at RAPP.

    After many years of working in the technology and data business, plus years at creative agencies, gives me insight and perspective across RAPP’s end to end proposition.     With a master’s degree in Product Design Engineering, Joe has always enjoyed blending both art and science when tackling thorny problems. He’s been incredibly lucky to work at agencies built on award-winning cultures, starting at iris, BBDO, Proximity and now RAPP. He’s also had the privilege to work across both Europe and Asia for some truly stella brands like Gillette, Guinness, VISA, IKEA and Virgin, to name a few. As part of the RAPP leadership team, it’s Joe’s job to ensure we’re inventing the future of marketing for every single client and (equally importantly) having fun in the process!
